IELTS General Training sınavı lisanstan daha düşük seviyelerde eğitim almayı amaçlayan kişiler için uygundur. İş yerinde eğitim amacıyla da kullanılabilir. Dinleme, okuma ve yazma sınavları tek oturuşta tamamlanır. Konuşma sınavı, test merkezine bağlı olarak aynı gün içinde veya sınav tarihinden bir haftaya kadar önce ya da sonra yapılabilir. The IELTS General Training test is appropriate for people applying to study at a lower level than a bachelor’s degree. It can also be used for training in the workplace. It is also required for migration to Australia, Canada, New Zealand, and the United Kingdom. The four sections of the test are Speaking (11-14 minutes), listening (30 minutes), reading (60 minutes), and writing (60 minutes). It takes 2 hours and 45 minutes in total. The tests for listening, reading, and writing are completed in one sitting. The speaking test may be taken on the same day or up to a week before or after the test date, depending on the test center.
