TOEIC, ana dili İngilizce olmayan adaylar için standart bir uluslararası İngilizce dil yeterlilik sınavıdır. Program, uluslararası bir ortamda çalışan kişilerin İngilizce becerilerini günlük ortamda değerlendirmek üzere özel olarak tasarlanmıştır. Bu testin uygunluk gereksinimleri yoktur. Temel İngilizce bilgisi olan herkes sınava girebilir. Dinleme ve Okuma Testi, Konuşma ve Yazma Testi ve Bridge Testi olmak üzere üç farklı şekli bulunur.

• TOEIC Dinleme ve Okuma Testi iki saat uzunluğundadır (Dinleme için 45 dakika ve okuma için 75 dakika). Dinleme ve Okuma bölümlerinin her birinde 200 adet çoktan seçmeli soru eşit olarak dağıtılır. Her aday, 0 ila 495 puanlık bir ölçekte Dinleme ve Okuma odaklı düşünme puanları için ayrı ayrı değerlendirilir. Toplam puan 0 ile 990 arasında değişir.
• Konuşma ve Yazma Testinde, sınava giren adaylar iki sınav için ayrı ayrı birer sınav sonucu alabilirler ya da sadece Konuşma veya Yazma kısmına girebilirler. TOEIC Konuşma Testinin tamamlanması yaklaşık 20 dakika sürerken, TOEIC Yazma Testinin tamamlanması yaklaşık 60 dakika sürer. Sınava giren kişiler, konuşma açısından sekiz uzmanlık seviyesine ve yazma açısından dokuz yeterlilik seviyesine ayrılmıştır. Her testin puanı, 0-200 arasındadır.
• TOEIC bridge test, kâğıt-kalem üzerinde İngilizce Dinleme ve Okuma becerinizi ölçen bir sınavdır. Sınav yaklaşık 1,5 saat sürmektedir: Dinleme 25 dakika, Okuma 35 dakika, yaklaşık 30 dakika ise eğitim ve iş geçmişi soruları. Sınav 100 adet çoktan seçmeli sorudan oluşur.

The TOEIC (Test of English for International Communication) is a standardized international test of English language competency for non-native English speakers. It is specifically designed to assess the English skills of people who work in an international setting on a daily basis. This test has no eligibility requirements. Anyone with a basic understanding of English is eligible to take the test. Listening and Reading Test, Speaking and Writing Test, and Bridge Test are the three forms provided.

• The TOEIC Listening and Reading Test is two hours long (45 minutes for Listening and 75 minutes for Reading). The Listening and Reading comprehension sections each have 200 multiple-choice items evenly distributed. On a scale of 0 to 495 points, each candidate receives separate scores for Listening and Reading comprehension. The total score ranges from 0 to 990.
• Test takers receive individual results for each of the two examinations in the Speaking and Writing Test, or they can take the Speaking test without taking the Writing test and vice versa. The TOEIC Speaking Test takes about 20 minutes to complete, while the TOEIC Writing Test takes about 60 minutes to complete. Test takers are divided into eight proficiency levels for Speaking and nine proficiency levels for Writing, with each test having a score range of 0–200.
• The TOEIC Bridge test is a paper-and-pencil exam that assesses your ability to Listen to and Read common English. The test lasts about 1.5 hours, with Section I: Listening taking 25 minutes, Section II: Reading 35 minutes, and the education and work history questions taking about 30 minutes. It is made up of 100 multiple- choice questions.
